Girish Capital founded to meet the capital and venture needs of young entrepreneurs and healthcare startups
2015
Dr. Setul Patel grows Neighbors Health to multiple sites in multiple states and is named EY Entrepreneur of the Year, Gulf Coast region, and a national finalist
2017
Partnership with Cheston Syma brings capital and construction together behind a growing Sport Clips portfolio
2022
The partnership expands its development portfolio into Big Blue Swim Schools and other brands

We founded Girish Capital in 2014, building on the years of experience our team members bring from healthcare, finance, services, real estate and marketing. That breadth gives us a wide perspective on your company and its future.
The name “Girish” means “Ruler of the Mountains” and is a symbolic tribute to the philosophies and integrity that go into every deal at Girish Capital. The late Mr. Girish T. Patel, father of founder Dr. Setul Patel, embodied this spirit as he made the journey to the United States and made this country his own. His generous spirit carries on today through the work that we do.
